'Mary King's Riding School 2' (Wii) Announced

Posted on Wednesday, November 12 @ 18:59:09 GMT
Nintendo WiiMary King’s Riding School 2 gives players the unique opportunity to train with world ranking equestrian, Mary King, and become a 3 day eventing champion.

Following the success of the first installment, Mary King’s Riding School 2 has been developed in association with Dancing Dot Studios and Laughing Jackal on the Wii, giving players the unique opportunity to train with world ranking equestrian, Mary King, and become a 3 day eventing champion.

Mary King has become an equestrian superstar over the course of her illustrious 24 year career, winning no less than four team gold medals at World Equestrian Games and European Championships. She has been British Champion four times, more than anyone to date, and represented Britain in five Olympic Games: 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008, winning silver in Athens and bronze in China.

Mary King’s involvement in the game has been exceptional, working extensively with the Laughing Jackal development team on several hours of scripted audio recordings written exclusively for the game. Players will also be treated to hands-on training from Mary King, taking them through intrinsic dressage routines, challenging show jumping circuits and exhilarating cross-country courses. Once you have mastered the training you can begin your journey through the equestrian ranks, competing at famous events across the globe, earning cash and unlocking new accessories and equipment for rider and horse.

Marketing Account Manager, Adrian Clews comments “Mary King is a leading figure in the equestrian world and we’re proud to have an Olympic medal winning rider licensed to the game. Mary has been heavily involved in the production of the game, providing guidance on events, supplying technical advice and even recording voice-overs which has been the key to developing the most realistic horse simulator on the market”.

Mary King’s Riding School 2 allows players to customise male and female characters, choose from a whole stable of horses and compete in over 1000 competitions worldwide. All delivered with stunning graphics, challenging events and an intuitive control system incorporating the Wii’s unique remote functionality. Don’t miss the opportunity to join Mary King at the greatest riding school in world with Mary King’s Riding School 2.

Mary King’s Riding School 2 is due for release in Q1 2009.
